The Buffalo Township Board of Supervisors are accepting applications for a full-time Truck Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer.
The Truck Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled road and street related duties, expend strenuous physical effort and perform their duties with occasional exposure to inclement working conditions. The employee must be able to operate highway vehicles and heavy equipment in a productive manner. Heavy equipment includes, but is not limited to, Heavy Duty Front End Loader, Roller, Grader, Backhoe, Excavator and Sweeper.
Candidates must have knowledge of and experience with a variety of hand and power tools including, but not limited to, mowers, saws and trimmers, in addition to truck driving experience and experience operating heavy equipment. Candidates must hold a valid CDL with air and must pass a Township physical and drug test. Candidates must have the ability to work in excess of 8 hours per day and must have the ability to walk, lift and bend while carrying heavy objects.
The Township offers a generous benefit package. Salary is negotiable, based on experience. A minimum of five years’ experience is preferred.
