The Buffalo Township Planning Director (BTPC) must be contacted if you are planning a sub-division or have land development questions. Building and Zoning Permit Applications are submitted to the Zoning Officer.

Planning Commission Meetings

Planning Commission Meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the last Monday of the month. Meeting dates that fall on a holiday are usually held the Tuesday after, but may vary. Meetings are open to the public, and located at:

2026 Meeting Dates are as follows:
January 26, February 23, March 30, April 27, May 26, June 29, July 27, August 31, September 28, October 26, November 23, No December Meeting.

            The Buffalo Township Board of Supervisors are accepting applications for a full-time Secretary/Treasurer.

 

            The Township Secretary/Treasurer will act as a liaison to the Board of Supervisors, and coordinate functions for the effective operations of the Township.  The employee must exercise independent judgment in accordance with established rules and policies and ensure that citizens’ concerns are attended to or brought to the Supervisors’ attention.

 

            Candidates must have strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills.  Office experience with a solid command of Quickbooks and Microsoft Office is preferred.  Familiarity with website design and maintenance will also be considered.  Attendance is required at all regularly scheduled meetings, special meetings and work sessions.  Must be bondable.
